Violet isn't talking much but she has mastered all the key phrases and words. She wakes up in the morning and the first thing she does is come to our bedroom, stand next to our bed and say, "Up". Once she is nestled in between us she says, "Remote". When one of us is holding the remote she says, "Mult", which means multiki (cartoons) and her final word until she is in a complete trance is: Dora.
She has also figured out that the appropriate response to, "Do you want soup for lunch?" is, "No, Ice Cream".

First Sentence
A few days ago, Violet woke up and first thing she did was walk over to her Leap Frog Telephone, picked up the receiver and said, "Hello? I love you. Bye Bye."
Just like her papa, she likes to keep the conversations short and sweet.
