Brooklyn Half

"Let me quickly run a half marathon (without training), before I drive three hours to begin doing renovations on my new home.  No big deal.  I am kind of amazing."
-Gene

(He didn't actually say this but I sure as hell would if I were him.  Because, frankly, he is kinda amazing (Don't tell him I said this.  Luckily he doesn't read this blog). The only thing that's more amazing is me getting two kids ready and at Coney Island before 9am. You know I can't give him all the credit)

Mother's Day

Ready to Make Memories

Celebrating Sandy Valley and being extra silly
Do you like my mustache?

Home is where the pool is...

Welcome to our family Sandy Valley Klayman.  Sandy was born on May 12th, 2017 and weighted 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.  We are so excited to have Sandy join our family

Blast from the Past!

My 8th grade yearbook. Second row from the top, all the way to the right.  I haven't aged a day!

Playdate with Audrey

Look Mom, Ivy is Famous!

While strolling down Court street on our way to dinner at Gersi (try it if you haven't yet!), Violet suddenly stops and says, "mom, look that girl in the window looks just like Ivy".  I turn to look and lo and behold, it IS Ivy!  What do you know, she's a local celebrity.

Spring is Here!

4 years later...

Grandma Ninel (Nellya) turns 87

One day I hope the girls will realize how special it is for them to know their great grandma.

Violet Klaymandisky Returns

Violet's exhibit at Pratt Institute.  The assignment was to incorporate material into your artwork.  Violet made a self portrait and used felt to make her earrings.

Spring Break at Disney World

Disney, here we come!

First Stop: Magic Kingdom
Pooped
Tasted way worse than I remembered
One of the many character pictures (I won't bore you with all)
Obligatory picture in front of Epcot
LOVE this picture on Seven Dwarfs Mine Train (especially Ivy's face), although not enough to pay for it)
Possibly the only picture of the 4 of us looking at the camera
Photo shoot while standing online for a 4D movie
Bliss
Best part of the trip? Ivy learned to swim without floaties
Baby birds outside of our room in Siesta Key
Dali Museum (or as Ivy calls it "mommy's silly artist")
Persistence of Time
Eurotrip style notes taken on Table Cloth (Disney Edition)
We're home...

Violet is 7!

My sweet, kind, smart, empathetic and artistic daydreamer turned 7.  Violet, you're perfect and while I wish I can keep you at this age forever, I can't wait to see the kind of young lady you grow up to be.

Skiing in Belleayre

Wish I took more pictures on this ski trip.  Ivy mostly skied the bunny slope, with the instructor holding on to her. Violet went down from the top of the mountain down a Blue slope --something that I was too chicken to do.  #ProudMoment

Ivy is Star of the Week at Pre-K
